Single Lesson...
At student's location - $55*
At 578 Precita - $45

Six Lesson Discount Rate...
At student's location - $300 ($50 per lesson)*
At 578 Precita - $240 ($40 per lesson)

Ten Lesson Discount Rate...
At 578 Precita - $350 ($35 per lesson)

*Home lessons are available within San Francisco and at the discretion of the teacher. It may not be possible for the teacher to travel to certain locations due to time constraints or other circumstances.

Lessons are offered on a weekly basis in 6 or 10 lesson series (once a week on the same day and time) or 'lesson by lesson' (single lessons - scheduled as needed and at such times as are available for each lesson). Lesson times cannot be reserved on an 'every other week' basis (the same day and time every other week). In order to reserve a specific day and time for ongoing weekly lessons, student must schedule and pay for at least 6 lessons at a time.

Policies

Upon making payment the student agrees to the following terms;

The student will provide their own instrument and will maintain it appropriately.

The teacher shall provide the student various instructional materials which become the property of the student.

The teacher assumes no liability for injury to the student or damage to their property.

Lateness

The student will arrive at or be available for lessons at the agreed upon time. If the student is late that time will not be compensated. If the teacher is late the time shall be compensated by extending that lesson or a subsequent lesson accordingly.

Lateness of more than 20 minutes by the student without notification will constitute an absence (cancellation) and forfeiture of that lesson. ( See Cancellation / Rescheduling policy )

Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy

Student may cancel or reschedule a lesson by email or phone by the end of the day prior to scheduled lesson. The lesson will be rescheduled at a date and time agreed upon by the teacher and student.

IF STUDENT CANCELS OR RESCHEDULES ON THE DAY OF SCHEDULED LESSON, FOR ANY REASON, ANY FEES PAID FOR THAT LESSON ARE FORFEITED. IF FEES HAVE NOT YET BEEN PAID, STUDENT WILL OWE TEACHER PAYMENT FOR ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED LESSON.

ALSO, STUDENT WILL FORFEIT ANY PAYMENT MADE FOR LESSONS NOT TAKEN WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PAYMENT (or 150 days for a 10 lesson series) REGARDLESS OF TIME OF CANCELLATION. Lesson rescheduled after said 90 day period will require an additional payment equal to forfeited payment. There are no refunds for student cancellation.

If a student pays for a series of SIX or TEN LESSONS at a time, those lessons shall be scheduled to take place at times and location agreed upon by the teacher and the student upon payment.

For SIX LESSON SERIES;

ALL SIX LESSONS WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PAYMENT. Therefore, rescheduling of prepaid lessons shall be limited to said 90 day period. STUDENT WILL FORFEIT ANY PAYMENT MADE FOR LESSONS NOT TAKEN WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PAYMENT. Teacher is not obligated to provide lesson after said 90 day period has elapsed.

For TEN LESSON SERIES;

ALL TEN LESSONS WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN 150 DAYS OF PAYMENT. Therefore, rescheduling of prepaid lessons shall be limited to said 150 day period. STUDENT WILL FORFEIT ANY PAYMENT MADE FOR LESSONS NOT TAKEN WITHIN 150 DAYS OF PAYMENT. Teacher is not obligated to provide lesson after said 150 day period has elapsed.

If the teacher cancels a lesson for any reason at any time, that lesson will be rescheduled at a time agreed upon by the teacher and student at no additional cost to the student.
